Fuse Size for Grover Air Pump

Can anyone provide the correct in-line fuse size for the original Grover #1393 Air Pump used in a 1960 Overlander? I believe the pump draws around 6 amps but need to know the proper fuse size as the in-line holder is empty. Thanks in advance.

opened the fuse holder this afternoon and there is a 20 amp fuse. Not sure if that is right, just what the PO had in there. Hope that helps

The correct fuse is a 10 amp SLOW BLOW.

Make sure the fuse is a slow blow, since it takes surges without blowing.

I lied.

It's not really a manual, it's a one pager.
