Extra male plug, what is it?

I have been living with this plug that is located on the port side bulkhead, forward of the side couch. The PO denies any knowledge of this and I've avoided plugging it into the electric to see what would happen. There appears to be a significant amt of length tucked into the wall. All ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Guess here, but Television or DVD player. My 2014 has TV and DVD plugs that can be plugged into either the regular or inverter circuits. Although I don't see anything but a regular outlet in your rig, others with an inverter may have had multiple places the TV could be plugged into.

Strange - it doesn't look like something that would have been original. Is there no way to follow it to see where it leads? Could be some sort of additional signal amplifier?

Curious as to what you think that one way is.

That was gonna be my suggestion as well. Plug it in and see if it "lets the smoke out of anything."

Come on, what's the worst thing that could happen? A leak in the shell? A rotten spot in the floor?

We're attending a local AS rally this weekend in Dade City at Travelers Rest RV Resort so I'll put off the "plug in" remedy till this is over just in case something happens. Wouldn't it have been nice if the PO owned up to what the plug was for? Oh well...

Thanks for all the advice,

Keep pulling on it till it stops, you may be able to look inside with a flashlight, see what, if anything, it is connected to. The grommet in the wall doesn't appear to be large enough for the plug to pass through. The other end likely the same. The cord would need to be cut, inserted into the hole, then connected to something on the other side, requiring access to that back side.

Might be a factory install.

Any mention in the owners manual?

That is the 120v lead and transformer to the old television. The transformer was hidden in the wall, and couldn't be removed. The television was replaced because it was analog only, and would not pick up digital tv signals.
