External outlets needed

Hello. I have a 63 Overlander and am looking for 3 or more exterior 110 volt outlets with a water tight cover (screw on?) that will look nice? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I guess it depends on where you plan to mount the boxes. Do you mean something like this? Or a "while in use" box like this?

I guess my thought would be to mount the outlets somewhere relatively convenient but not terribly obvious.

If you are looking for the OLD SCREW ON receptacles they have all but vanished.

I have even gone so far as to ask electricians working with older homes at the shore to be on the look out for old ones as they rewire homes. They were very common in shore homes before the war there were 2 on my front porch as a kid. Just forgot to remove them when I sold the house.

I was hoping to replace the three exposed single gang outlets with a screw on cover type. I want to keep the outside looking vintage.

we have used the screw on type plugs and recepticles that howie was talking about in the fire service for fans and other plug in equipment that we needed to be water tite.
check with you local fire equipment dealer or call your fire dept. and see if they can get them

Dont forget that all exterior recepticals require GFI recepticals at $10 to $15 each that is if your unit isnt GFI protected already.

letsgo123 has a good point. If these outlets are for occasional use & not heavy duty, all 3 can be protected by a single 20 amp GFCI breaker.
