Electrical Eye Candy...

I have recently uprated my service from 30 to 50 amp.
The final step was the installation of a new Furrion 50 amp power inlet.

Installation was a snap... Drilled a 2" hole and snak 4 stainless screws.

The Furrion products are really nice. All constructed of hi grade stainless, and Norell styrene. All gaskets and other hardware are included for a beautuful installation.

Now to decide if I want to install the CATV inlet as well.

Yes, I does look like it belongs there..

I wish AS installed these inlets rather than the drawer and wrap up cords.

They do now. But, yeah, Airstream had a lot of bad ideas on how to deal with electrical cords over the years. I still think my favorite is the 70s era wheel that you pull the cord, and it "automatically" rewinds like in a vacuum cleaner. I have the type like you describe - wrap it around a metal frame - which isn't TOO bad but isn't great, either. (It also is quite annoying when you camp in cold weather and the the cord won't wrap well.)
