Electical outlet

I'm looking to replace the original oversized electrical outlet covers. I want to replace them with metal silver type. The outlet covers measure approx 3- 1/2 inches wide by 5- 1/4 inches in length. If anyone kows where I can find them Please Please Help me out. Thanks

Alex,
Don't waste your time at the local home centers Find an electrical supply house, if they don't have them they should be able to order them, or know someone that may have them in stock. Somewhere like a specialty lighting center may have them too. They are known in the industry as "boo-boo plates".

They are called "jumbo" plates but I have never seen them in stainless steel, which is probably the closest shiny silver finish you will get. Most jumbo plates only come in plastic.

Try to find a supply house that carries the Hubbel brand devices, they are very big on commercial and spec grade electrical stuff.

Alex,
You can paint the plastic ones with Rustoleum Aluminum Paint The ones in my unit are on the curve, don't know if the SS ones would curve that much or not
