Harbor Freight has a Digital volt/ohm/amp meter on sale for $2.99.

I bought one and tested it aginst my Fluke and it was right on. Went back and bought another. Regular price $10.

good tip garry!

i got a cheapie just to keep in the trailer. radio shack, less than ten bucks.

the simpson vom i have is a little to big to go anywhere, so it stays on the workbench.

Real good tip. It is cheaper than the fuse in your Fluke.
