Unhappy Dead doorbell

The doorbell gave up in my Excella 1000. Does anybody know where the actual unit is located?
Thanks.

You have a doorbell I guess those 34'ers are so big you might not hear someone knocking if you were in the back

Welcome to the forum!

Smile doorbell

In our 1984 excella 31' it was under the front lounge on the curb side. Could be seen by removing the under lounge drawer.

Hope this helps

you will most likely find the button is bad.

if you have a replacement from airstream you can basicly rip it out with a needlenose pliers and replace it with the new one. it snaps into place from the outside.

for a less destructive method you will need to remove the inner skin next to the door and push the button out from the inside.

before you try anything give the button a shot of wd 40 and see if it starts working again. it may just be slightly corroded.

This is helpful. Do you just pull it right out?
