Do you see any reason something like this would not work in a newer AS? Say 2001?

We'd ideally like to run this off a hefty battery setup in the future, but for now, we're likely to not use it if we're not plugged into shore power.

Everything is bigger in Texas. 20 amps 220 volts. You will need a Texas Battery.

My experience is even a lot of campground power pedestals would have trouble supporting this through your 30 amp hookup.

We bought one for our "work-in-progress" new house project several years ago (going out of business auction) but still not ready for it. I like the concept.
