Conduit /Raceway

Hello All!
I am looking into an old airstream that is completely gutted and ready for electrical. My question to everyone is this....
Have any of you heard of using conduit or Raceway along the floor like trim instead of going between the skins. I am wanting to do the insulation and installing of the interior skins as well as the floor as soon as possible but the electrical is a beast I am not confident in tackling myself. All of the repair places near me have about a two month wait and so I am looking into the idea of running the electrical outside the skins along the floor behind cabinets and whatnot after the skins have been put back on. This would in theory allow me to customize the electrical after it is all said and done if I ever needed to add a junction box etc.
I also thought this would be beneficial to protecting the wiring and provide for a better seal with insulation as we will be living in a very arrid climate soon.
What are your thoughts?

if gutted
lay a large diameter PVC pipe behind the cabinets, end to end
have 1 or 2 openings where you might want cables to enter/exit
lay a nylon chord in side

when all done years later and you need to add a new cable, use the nylon chord to pull your cable through

this is what is done in large building

I've owned a couple of Airstreams that had a baseboard in the rear bedrooms that was L shaped, used as a raceway for wires. These raceways were plywood covered with carpet to match the floor.
When the base terminates at a cabinet or closet, the wires ran through them along the floor or wall where they could be hidden.
Where a wire runs up into a wall to a receptacle, there is a round hole with a grommet so that the wire's insulation is not damaged by the sharp metal edge.

I'm using a 2" aluminum equal angle along the baseboard (where exposed) on one side of my trailer for auxiliary wires for my back up camera and an independent 120V line and some other accessories. It will not even be noticeable and as you say, I can add or customize my wiring as needed. You might need a larger size to accommodate all of the electric. All of my standard electric runs are still in the walls.

Yes, I think a raceway is a great idea.

+1
I'd lay it in the space where the furnace ducts already go.
