Clicking noise coming from main battery disconnect switch

I have a 2014 Airstream Interstate and have noticed that the main battery disconnect switch makes a intermittent clicking noise under the rear couch very similar to the sound when you press the shut off switch by the sliding door. I have pressed the red switch in when its clicking and it seams to stop it while Im pressing on it, but continues. Could the red turn dial switch being going bad? It never use to do this. It does have solar panels and I have read some forums talk about this to be the cause. Thank you

The clicking is probably a relay making the actual connection. If the clicking continues, without you pressing the switch continuously, the relay may be going bad and you might want to replace it IMO. [layman's opinion]
