Circuit Breaker Box Light

Everything works fine, but I'm curious as to the function of the small bulb on the top of the breaker box. It's always off and since the breaker has never tripped, I don't know if it is a tripped breaker warning light.

Any ideas?

Dear Zep,
I think that solves the mystery. The fact that the light hasn't come on is a good thing. Since I replaced the shore power port and wired it to the box, there was a chance that I crossed a wire and screwed up the polarity. I can sleep better now.

Thanks!
