Carbon Monoxide Dector

Just how strong do you need to be to change the battery. If I twist any harder I fear I wiki break it.

Thanks

Possible the battery leaked and sealed the unit. Take a hot washcloth and wrap it around the unit for a minute. Don't spray chemicals on it

Check around the perimeter of the base. Many units have a lock pin that must be pulled out prior to rotating.

I found the pin. I never even thought about looking for it. It was easy to remove the detector after I took it out. Replaced the battery and it is now working again or at least not beeping.
Again thanks for everyone's assistance
