Cable TV Hookups
found some cable hookups in my house today but it was to short to run outsidE.I checked around and found these. What does everyone think? Is there a better website to get these parts from?Would radio shack have this sort of thing?Anwhere else that is cheaper?
There were a couple of times that we were able to use cable so I carry some with me every where I go now just in case. Thanks

Those are cool. Have not seen them ... I will look in HD or Lowes next time I am in there tho, they have a pretty good selection of cable stuff. Around here anyway.

cables
I just talked to radio shack and they said they have them for around $1.99 each.I plan on getting some of these for the Airstream. No more trying to screw them into the outside wall anymore.

The KOA in N.Little Rock, Arkansas had a whole box of them on the counter. IIRC they were 99 cents apiece. I bought a handfull, first time I had ever seen them. They are invaluable for hooking cable up in the campgrounds. Several times I have had to use a bare pieces of wire and an alligator clips because the threads on the campground connectors were so bad

Devo - I've been using those for about five years now. Like Aaron said, they're great for campground connections with buggered threads. I even have some gold plated ones that really don't work any better than the regular ones. I use them with this type of mini coax for short (12 ft.) runs, although I have seen them in 25 ft. lengths. It's a real space saver, as the whole setup fits in the palm of your hand.

I believe I have seen these mini coax cables at Wal-Mart for around $7.

Im sorry
Hey I am sorry about how I said that in the first post. What I was meaning to say was that I have the cable wire but I am looking for the qick disconnects to put on the end of the cable so I can just slide them on and off in a flash.I was just getting tired of screwing them on the the outside trialer wall and sometimes the campground connection would be stripped up really bad.
I found out that radio shack has them for about $1.99 each so I am going to go get some today.I will post and take a pick of what I got to show everyone else.
Sorry about.

Bought some last week at Radio Shack
I bought some of those the other week at Radio Shack for cables inside the trailer. I want to be able to disconnect the cable from the LCD so that we can easily move it to another location within the trailer or take it out for the winter.
We have a cable for the outside connection to the trailer that has quick connect ends and rubber caps that fit over the connections. I think we might have picked that up at Camping World but don't quote me.

Devo,
You were clear in your first post. I just thought by including the link to the cable, I would share a space saving device that I found that works well for me. You know how it was when you owned the Bambi... every square inch of space is precious.
