Both Furnace and Water heater won't ignite?

OK... I'm at a loss
We're in the Rockies. It's late. It's cold!
Both the furnace and water heater will not ignite.
Everything else electrical is just fine. All fuses fine.
We're hooked up and have a space heater.
Anyone have a suggestion on what to check?

1) do you have a propane flame at the stove? If not, then a problem with the propane system
2) how cold is it where you are? don't remember at exactly what temperature propane doesn't remain at its liquid state (-35??) We've used either a 75W light bulb or an ambient heater such as a "goldenrod" near the propane regulator to maximize the efficiency of the propane when the temp gets below freezing.
3) your propane regulator may be at fault - they do fail.

Yep, we have gas at the stove. It's about 10 degrees outside.

What is the elevation? Sometimes the furnaces and water heater have trouble lighting and staying lit at higher elevations. Your LP pressure regulator could be slightly misadjusted. I have to run to work, if somebody else doesn't jump in with more detailed instructions, a search of the forums for "LP", "regulator", "water column", should get you to some usable info. Good luck.

It was 14 here in Flag at almost 7K and the Suburban worked fine, so Terry may be on to something.

We've been camped here for a few days at about 7k elevation. All has worked fine till last night. All that's changed is temperature which was the lowest it's been last night. Plenty of gas at the stove. The water heater did kick on a few times during the night and the fridge can be switched over to gas.
Time to research the forum some more for a clue.
At least the pipes made it through the night.

Does your heater blow air? our circuit board in the heater went out it would blow cold air but not light .Had to take out furnace and replace board.

Actually the heater won't do a damn thing right now. Fiddling with the thermostat doesn't bring it to life in any way. I'm really hoping that it's not a circuit board or other major issue. It's challenging to have this happen when the temp is expected to drop to 10 or so tonight. Have to keep reading on the forum...

I don't know? you checked all the fuses? If you don't get it going by tonight I have a mini winterizing tip for your water pipes turn off your pump or outside water source and leave your faucets open. I don't know how well this will work where you are I have been below freezing but not down to 10

If the boards were bad, the units would still come on, but not ignite. It seems to me a wiring problem, you should have a separate fuse for the water heater and the furnace, I do. Hope this helps.

I had a the same situation. Heres what my problem was. "Corrosion"

The furnace corrosion was in the thermostat. Mine has a little contact that is made when the switch is turned on. That contact needed slight sanding. The hot water tank, was the connection on the board.

The question might alos be, Does your stove work? because you might have condensation and froze your preassure regulator.

Corrosion is funny, it happens most oftenly at severe temp changes, in damp conditions. This is why Alluminum tires tend to be low, on the first cold mornings

I would not touch any of that: Our fuse blocks are: RED: stove fan, overhead fan, light in bath and Suburban. BROWN: hot water heater, shower light, water pump, cockpit lites and monitor panel.

On my trailer, 2001 25' SS there is a separate furnace switch. Open the outside furnace panel, drop down the next panel and look for an electrical switch.

One of the first times using the trailer required heat. Reading the manual for about a dozen times, I finally discovered the switch and after looking for it and going back to the manual several times, I found it.

In fact I just flipped the switch to set it up for winter use.
