Blue light on shore power inlet out

I noticed that the blue LED lights on both front and back inlets are out. Everything else is normal. Powers up batteries up and all normal readings on plug tester. Any ideas why?

The blue LEDs on our trailer (2013 25FB Flying Cloud) have also failed. I have seen multiple reports on this forum about those LEDs failing.

The connection works OK without the lights, so we decided to leave well enough alone and not try to replace the inlets.

I don't know if the LEDs on more recent trailers are more reliable--I hope so.

The blue led on the trailer side of my cord has also failed. Seems to work fine without it.

I spoke with factory tech and he said it's usually a dead LED and not to worry about it as long as everything else checks out ok. You have to replace the entire receptacle which is too costly for me. Thanks for you fast replies.

Smart Plug

I have a 2017 and the light went out too, underwarranty, but I've decided to install the smartplug outlet. Can't wait to see how it works out.

The light on my side outlet failed and had it replaced under warranty. Now the front one is out, but everything works. PITA!

Amazon has the power inlet with the cable plug here: http://SmartPlug B30ASSYNT, 30 Amp I..._PFGHyb0VEV1GR

If link doesn't work just search for it on Amazon. That said, I ordered the inlet and a new power cable for Airstream life store. Only place I could find it. They are slow.. http://store.airstreamlife.com/colle...nt=21381459137

I also ordered a regular 30amp female plug for my current Airstream cable and plan to make it an extension cable. Camco 55343 30 AMP Female Replacement Receptacle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00192MU2Y..._URGHybDFRHHKF

I installed a smartplug inlet at the front of the camper this am. Forgot to take pictures until I was ready to screw inlet back in. Here are a few:
