Beach '65 Carvel Rewiring Simplified

I just concluded that the '65 Caravel that I have been completely rebuilding and redesigning/upgrading (interior only) has oxidation at all the electrical connections and the insulation is getting brittle. Since the layout will change significantly most of the electrical fixtures are in the wrong place. Maybe it is because it is the end of the day but I don't feel like starting to remove all the inner skin or even snaking wires through the walls. So I am toying with the idea of going with thin wall conduit here and there. I have to check Lowes but they probably have a whole section on this.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Barry

I really miss the old knob & tube wiring. I'm not sure you can buy the parts at Lowes.

I used armored cable for the 120V in my '59, and plastic "smurf" tubing for the 12V wiring. I buried it in the walls though.
