Battery Storage

If anyone has a 1969 or older Overlander, Where do you store your battery??? I am not familiar with the storage compartment on this model. The battery cables were in the rear of the trailer int the back hatch, but I don't see where a battery can fit in there...

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks!!!

Battery placement

Jimmy,

The battery is set to the right of the toilet on top of the floor as I look at the rear of the unit with the compartment door off.
