Welcome to the forum! You might find a better audience in the B-van forum IMO:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f240/

. . . or maybe check these "190 battery location" search results:

https://www.google.com/search?q=190+...=airforums.com

Do you have the owner's manual? If not you can download one here:

https://www.airstream.com/owners/man.../tc/year/1997/

On p. 31 [PDF p. 71/98] there is an electrical diagram which seems to show the battery under the dinette IMO. Is there a trap door in the floor maybe, or under one of the seats?

Good luck,

Peter

thanks peter. I do have the owners manual and it does show the battery being under the dinette. I just don't see anything there. ? Do you know if the coach battery is the same type (size dimensionally ) as a regular size automotive battery? maybe I should be looking for something smaller. In any case, thanks for the quick reply. Dan

Have you lifted the seats in the dinette to look for the battery?

It may also be covered by a plate and actually accessed from underneath.

Good luck.

Maggie

Any luck with Maggie's suggestions? Guessing yes, probably a normal auto battery IMO but no experience with your model.

Any chance a previous owner installed new flooring/carpeting and covered an access plate in the floor? I would repeat the suggestion in Post #2 to start a new thread in the B-van forum. You will find a more knowledgeable audience there.
