Battery converter not charging battery

Hi, I am connected to shore power, but the battery converter doesn't seem to be charging the battery, what could have gone wrong? Normally when I connect shore power, the battery converter would send 13v to the battery to charge it. I unplugged shore power today, thinking the battery is charged up ready to go, but nop it's flat with just 6v, no lights

I can't imagine this to be a major issue, must be something that is loose or some fuse blown? Please help me trouble shoot, much appreciated! keen to go camping now it's spring time in New Zealand

The Use/Store switch needs to be in Use. Where is your switch set?

Did you have lights while the shore power was connected? If so you have a shorted battery.

I had this happen on my preowned 2008 Classic 25fb. The Parallax converter was not outputting at the battery connections. I used a multimeter to check. I'm surprised the dealer I purchased it from couldn't figure it out. I went camping after the "repair" and the batteries still discharged when plugged in to shore power. I had to buy a battery charger in a nearby town to save the trip. I ended up buying a Progressive 4655 from Bestconverter and installed it myself. Now I have a 3 stage converter which is a good upgrade.

Probelm solved. It was just a simple battery cut off switch, was on store and should have been set to use. Kind of a silly bug easy to miss and can drain batter juice while camping. Airstream can perhaps solve this by dummies proof it to make it charge the battery regardless of the cut-off switch. Thanks all for your feedback!!

That switch caused me to ruin two sets of batteries in our last AS. When we picked up our 2014 this spring I replaced the converter the next week. Now I leave the batteries charging all the time and I don't have to worry about the batteries getting cooked.

I have a 2018 28' International that's awesome when all works. Today, when I turn my furnace on with my Dometic thermostat, I no longer have a sand clock icon in the screen, nor do I hear the blower motor click on. Fan is on auto, heat is set to 74 degrees, camper interior temp is at 55 degrees, no furnace. Any thoughts

Sometimes the thermostat needs to be reset.
