I used an extension cord from my garage to plug into AS to charge my battery. I used a simple 30amp to 15amp puck style adapter from the AS power cable to extension cord. The battery was at 9.6v when I started and the next day was still around 9.6v. Is there something I did not do correctly?

If your switch was in the "Store" position, your battery was not connected. Check to be sure it is in the Use position. The light will be red whenever plugged into shorepower, either position. If your battery voltage was that low it is already bad and I would recommend replacing them. Some would just recharge but they will never have rated capacity again. You should not let the voltage go below 11.9-12 vdc.

So I would still need to press the switch to use even though it is lit up already? I assumed that once plugged into shore power the battery automatically would connect and charge itself. I guess I assumed incorrectly. BTW - it has only been that low for a short amount of time due to use.
