Bathroom fan wiring help needed

We moved this bathroom fan to a different location and somwhere along the way I think these wires got disconnected. I think they were soldered on to the 2 contact points in the photo. Can anyone confirm this and does it matter on which contact point the blue and red wires go? This fan operated with a push button...first push was on high, second push was on low and third push was off. My hand is covering the single black wire that was leading to the push button.

Thanks.

Bathroom exhaust fan wiring help needed

Hoping someone will see this and offer help as still have not figured it out. This is the original bathroom exhaust fan in 1970 Caravanner. The switch has 3 wires on it (one is hidden in picture) red, blue and black. There is a tube structure on the back side of the triangular mounting plate on the other side of the solder joints with a black wire coming off one end.

Question is where does power and ground hook up? How does switch attach? and what wires attach to those solder joints?

figured it out

had not choice but to figure the wiring out on my own. hooked up battery and just began attaching wires until it started working. then tried combinations to get the high and low settings to operate. trial and error.... then success

was thinking power had to come through switch then off to fan, but in the end the power went directly to fan.

wiring was :
hot from battery to black leading into fan.
neutral from battery to fan switch black
blue on fan switch to solder point on fan plate
red on fan switch to solder point on fan plate (same point where black from fan attaches)
