Bare Copper Wire To Frame

I know this is a stupid question, but I cannot remember where the bare copper wire that is attached to the frame goes. Is it the converter or the junction box? Thanks in advance!!!

Either or both.. If there is a ground bus that grounds too.

One lead to each of the above, plus the ground bus, with separate screw-type connections at the frame for each ground lead. I would use a minimum 6AWG for this purpose, although I NEVER use solid wire in any of my installations.....and that includes Romex. It's all marine grade cable and class K welding cable.

Remember that a ground cable should be...at minimum the size of the largest current carrying cable in the device, as it provides the return path for the DC circuits, and a mechanical safety for the AC circuits.
