Bambi Battery

Greetings. Our 1999 Bambi has one battery. Is there any reason I couldn't put another battery in parallel with the existing one? Thanks! Ric

Lots of people add a 2nd 12V battery in parallel, or go to a pair of 6V batteries in series. There are philosophical disagreements on which is best, because in theory the 6V batteries themselves have some advantages, but if one of them has a problem you're sunk, whereas you could temporarily take the bad 12V out of the circuit and run with reduced capacity.

The challenge is where to put the 2nd battery on a small trailer.
