Adding a second battery

My 2008 Bambi 16' came with one 12v battery. I have fabricated a rack to hold two 12v batteries in front of the propane tanks. By wiring the batteries in parallel and attaching the leads correctly, is there anything else I need to do to the electrical system?

( I wonder why Airstream thought that if I bought the 16' rather than the 19' Bambi, I would need or want only half the 12v capacity!! )

Nope - You're on the right track...just make sure you use adequate sized cables from the new battery location to the fuse panel...

I'd use #2 AWG gauge cables...
