AC Outlets 2 Only

Hi Denny here, question on power outlets. The TV outlets do not have power coming to them, they work fine when pluged in to shore power. Previously worked fine. Other outlets work fine. New Inverter was installed and as far as I know two outlets do not have DC power. Work with generator or shore power only.

Thanks WisDenny

110 outlet breakers ?

Are there any GFI type breakers to reset power to any outlets. When Inverter is on there is no power getting to two seperate 110 outlets.Other outlets are working fine. WisDenny

On trailer factory inverter systems, there are two outlets at each TV. One is for inverter power only and the other is for shore/generator power only. You have to plug the TV into the one you are powering at the time.

TV only works on shore power in either side of 110 by TV's. Will continue my search. Inverter is wired corect as other outlets work properly. I can run extension cord to other outlets and they work properly.

Since they worked before you changed the inverter and they don't after you changed the inverter, my guess is that the inverter was not connected correctly.

Yes, but on the trailer there are two completely separate duplex 110 outlets, one for shore/generator power only and one for inverter power only. Maybe the Interstate is different.

Side input 110 wires need reversing according to Airstream expert.

Suggest checking both sides with a meter before concluding that the inverter was wired inproperly ...

Thumbs up Inverter was the problem

Two sets of 14 gage on side of inverter. After consulting with Airstream, they determined the previous owner had installed the inverter and reversed the 6 in/out wires. When I reversed the wires, problem was fixed. No damage done. Inverters run the intertainment group while inverting. The other outlets are meant to operate with the A/C power or the generator.
