7 way connector question 73 Overlander

I made a decision to have my pole connector replaced with the newer type connector. The old was not working well and I had to fool with it to get things to turn on.

I got the Airstream back and everything worked great. I noticed that when I went to put the cover over the wired connector on the inside of the trailer I noticed a cut wire. It was a red wire attached to what looked like was a reset which was connected to a blue wire. What did they Cut?

I am bringing this question forward again so airstreamers can read it and comment if they know the answer.

Blue would have been the charge circuit to the AS battery from the vehicle.

I read that and looked at the diagram, but what I found confusing is why it was hooked to a reset breaker on one end and a red wire at the other end.

Perhaps they altered your breakaway wiring, the blue power wire gets attached to the breakaway switch which then is connected to your brakes when it returns to the trailer from the switch.
