'67 Tradewind: Where is my Univolt ???

Hi,

I have just bought a '67 tradewind. An ammendment in the manual says the Univolt has been repositioned to under the toilet.

I tried to find it, but can't even find an access panel.

Before I remove the toilet & dismantle the entire back end, does anybody know how / where I can access it ?

Cheers

Mike

My 66 TradeWind has the Univolt under the closet on the rear streetside.

Where's My Univolt?

Mike,

Try looking under the road side matress, In front of the closet wall. That is where it is located in my 67 Caravel. Or hook up to shore power and listen for/follow the Buzzzzzz....

The 67 univolt should have been under the bath sink cabinet. Andy

Univolt Location

Thanks for the advice, I shall look in all 3 suggested locations when I go down to the trailer next weekend.

(There was no Buzz when I hooked up the shore power. I suscpect the Univolt has either buzzed it's last, or was removed.)

Will let you know how I get on.

Thanks

Mike

As far as I can see, the univolt has been removed.

I cannot find it, or any wires coming from the DC distribution "panel" to it.

When I bought th trailer the prvious owner also gave ma a battery charger which was located in the battery bay. I assume thye were using it permanently to top up the battery.

Thanks anyway for the tips.
