4way flat plug on 25 safari

there is what looks like a 4 way flat plug on the exterior of my 2005 safari 25'. its just behind the door down low on the trailer below the exterior 110 plug box. what is it? this is our first airstream and i have been learning a lot here.

It is for outdoor speakers.

how embarassing. i never could spell but as a dem its hard to be campared to quayle. how are the speakers wired in? do you use a 4 way flat plug spliced to speaker wire? thanks for the help.
