1977 Argosy 28 Exterior Light Wire Location

Well, after years of working on VW buses and bugs, we are jumping into the world of Airstreams with a '77 Argosy 28'. It's a field find and we are headed back to Ames, IA to pick it up.

We had a friend take it to a trailer/RV repair center and had them check the springs, brakes, re-pack the bearings and new tires. Rolls pretty great.

What they could not determine is why the running lights and brake wiring is not working as I suspect there has been some rodent demo crews in there doing some work.

Could someone point me to a good source for where I will find the wiring runs? I would like to avoid pulling interior panels down that don't need to come down.

Thank you and we look forward to being a contributing member of the forum.

Google for wiring diagram.

To get you home.

Brakes, you can duck tape wires to side of the trailer to the brakes

For tail, stop, and turn, Harbor Freight has a Magnetic set for under $20.
Put on rear bumper, if there is metal. Run the wire trough back window to front window to plug. Or duck tape. You might have to add some wire and have a plug converting from 4 PIn to 7 Pin.

Where are you taking it to?
