1975 34 ft Limited. Batteries

Hi I'm Tony and I have a '75 34ft Limited Classic. Gorgeous beast but, I need to know what type and size batteries it needs.

The ones that are in it look as if they are the incorrect ones as they were so difficult to remove from the hatches.

Also, if anyone out there is breaking an Airstream I'm after 3 vent surrounds for the interior and also a rectangular rear light cover plain red with two attachment screws in the middle of the top and bottom.

The photo is of my beast in sunny Fortuna Spain

Many thanks for any advice or help you can offer this limey

Tony

Batteries aren't critical. Just buy the biggest that will fit, or, in my case, I buy the most economical VA/$. Here in the States Costco sells 115 VA (volt-amps) battery for about $80. If you can find deep discharge (usually labeled "Marine" for some odd reason, and they're not really deep discharge like the glass batteries in the telephone switches) batteries, that's the way to go (because starting a car doesn't really discharge the battery very deeply, but you'll often discharge a battery down quite a bit in an Airstream).

Never discharge a battery more than 80%--it eats the life out of it right away.
