1966 28' International Ambassador wiring schematic

Gentlemen,

We recently purchased our first AS. It's a 1966, 28' International Ambassador. Is there a 12v schematic available that shows the routing for exterior wiring from the umbilical to the tail lights ? Also, is there a landing point bus somewhere inside the trailer where the 12v branches from to supply all the exterior lights ? Where is the typical place that the ground wire is located and attached to the frame where the umbilical disapeares in the underbelly ? I'm sorry if my post is in the wrong area. I just saw the "interior/exterior" section under electrical. Administrator, if you move my post, could you please let me know so I can find it in the appropriate area ?

Thankyou very much for your help,
Danny

I'm definitely not a wiring expert, so take this with a grain of salt. *Disclaimer*
I have a '68 Globetrotter, so may be similar to yours...
When I recently replaced my 7 way trailer cord I found an access panel in the belly pan (Curb side front). Although access is limited, I was able to find all seven wire terminations... no bus, though.

Danny.

There is a small access panel underneath the trailer at the front end.

Removing that cover will expose the wiring connections.

The following colors are for the noted circuits.

white=ground
blue=charge line
red=left turn and brake
brown=right turn and brake
green=clearance and tail lights
yellow=brake
black=back up lights
