I'm sure I stink at this search function, but couldn't find much on 12V wire size. I did see where 18 is the minimum for an RV, but what does everyone use? 14?

Depends on what it connects. The more amps the LOWER the wire gauge you need, the longer the run (how far from the box) the Lower the wire gauge. Lower is thicker and lets more juice thru. Use marine stranded wire. Costs more but works alot easier. You can always use a heavier wire than you need. What are you doing?

Rewiring the whole thing from scratch. 12v will only be for lights, fantastic fans and plugs, I'm not putting in a three way fridge or furnace. Biggest thing on a plug will be an LCD TV.
Any thoughts on where to get the Marine stranded wire?

We buy our wire from West Marine. They have a store right down the street from my office. Also by all my replacement stainless screws from them.
