12v switch on old safari

1973 23' safari
Can't find a switch to turn off all the 12 v power
We ran down the battery and I read the whole manual...still getting used to this unit, I searched here but I still can't find a kill switch for the dc stuff.

Am I looking for something that doesn't exist? Where can I install one. I am getting 120 power to the unit today so I can recharge the battery.

Any help appreciated

It does not exist, not on the older trailers. You have to disconnect the battery.

The 73's had no 12 volt kill switch. You Could add one, like either a Perko switch or a simple heavy duty on/off switch, made for 12 volt power. Harbor Freight has them for about $8.

Your battery should not run down unless you leave something turned on.

Interior lights, exterior lights, brakes, furnace fan, water pump and radio are the only things that use 12v power. The older fridges do not use 12v power.

My fault...it was bright out an I left a light on. We had a switch on our boat so I think we will add this item in the rear closet to be sure. I tested the vent fan which is broken an I think I left it in the on position. I'm sure we all have to learn.
Thanks a bunch
