12V and 24V in renovation?

Any particular reason, as I plan for a complete renovation of my 34' airstream, that I should use anything 24V? Should I at least plan for the contingency in the future when it comes to replacing a furnace or pump?

Most if not all RV electrical devices are 12 volt. No need to even consider 24 volt. IMHO
