120V Plug Question for 55 Flying Cloud ??

Hope all of you are having a great holiday season!!!

I am trying to plug into our house power to use the interior lights on our 55 flying cloud. The curbside plug in is 3 prong, male, marked 120v-35a, with 2 wires running to it. The configuration of the plug appears to be obsolete with all 3 prongs being flat and of the same size...much like a miniature version of an electric stove plug.
I purchased a standard rv plug, 125v-30a, which will not fit and has a 3 wire configuration.
I am looking for a solution to run power for now as we plan to rewire entirely as we renovate. I could not find any kind of adapter that would work.
I am hoping that some one else has encountered this and has a simply solution to share...

Those plugs are very hard to come by - I've heard recently that they are available at a big electrical supply company - I've never been able to find one though - so the best replacement is made by Marinco (sp) its a marine type plug - very nice, but very pricey....

Thanks for the reply Ken. Your right! They are hard to come by. We purchased one from a mechanics personal collection. We'll change it out to a new one when we rewire but for now it's nice to have and then later we can pass it on to someone in the same predicament!
