12 Volt source for new Fridge

I'm replacing the Fridge in my 1978 31 ft airstream and need a 12 volt source for the Fridge controls, any idea where to get the power and how to run the wire to the back of the new fridge?

If I needed to do this on my 78 Sovereign rear bath, I would tap into the 12v socket in the credenza and fish out of the wall really low. Protect the wire with a grommet or something. Then drill a little hole for the wire to go through the wall panel and arrive behind the fridge.

Second choice would be tap into street side bedroom light and hide the wire in the cabinet and under the bed and make my way through little holes through the walls and cabinets.

"Second choice would be tap into street side bedroom light..."

Whoops! I meant curbside. Sorry for all the troubled sleep everyone.

Thought about that, I was wondering about the amperage of that DC supply. I don't think I need much.

It most likely wants a 10 gauge wire from the fuse panel to the refer. Since it also powers the 12v heating unit along with the control panel.

Don't forget to ground the refer with a 10 gauge wire also.
