Yeah! I am finally an owner of an Airstream!

Hi- I am excited to join this airstream forum! I just purchase a 1972 Safari land yacht! We bought it from an older man who was going into a retirment home, and it looks like it is in pretty good shape. He had all the manuals and paperwork. The refrigerator and stove work. He didn't turn on the oven, but it looks in good shape. All the cabinets are in good shape except for the one sliding door over the fridge, All the bins are there, The lights all work, as well. The upholstery was redone (not very well,) but it's clean. the tires are fairly new, and it has a new battery. The only thing that was missing is we need to purchase a new hose to empty the waste tank. It has orange carpeting, that we want to replace with either linoleum, or pergo.
It is in good condition and I have already signed up for the Casini Ranch Rally in April. I am hoping to meet other airstream afficionados and find out how everything is supposed to work!!
I am excited to be a member and learn alot form you all!

Maggie
