Question Winter usage help/guidelines 2013 class b

My name is Steve and I just joined. I just purchased a 2013 Interstate Class B. I would like to use it going to Canada for snow skiing this winter, but I was told that the water heater component, water tanks and lines will freeze and possibly break.

I was hoping that by keeping the water heater and furnace on that these components would not freeze up.

Can anyone tell me if it is at all possible to use these systems during freezing conditions?

Thank you very much!!

Steve
