Cool window visors

I just bought my first travel trailer, a 62 Safari. The first thing I'd like to do for her cosmetically - is replace some of the window visors. Where can I buy some good ones? Thank you.

Hi, and welcome to the forum! Congrats on your new purchase!

First off, what exactly do you mean by window visors? Are you referring to the metal pieces over the windows on the outside that keep the rain from running off the body and down the glass?

Yes, thanks for your response. The small aluminum ones over windows and access panels to deflect rain. I found some local that were very thin - I want to replace with original type quality.

I'm trying to find the name of it. I think there's an RV/Airstream place in New Jersey that still has these. Does anyone else know who I'm thinking of? I remember I was looking for the same thing for our Bambi someone told me they had them.

Steph, StingrayL82 used South Jersey RV for much of his restoration, is that how you are thinking of? There's some info in this thread: http://www.airforums.com/forum...ion-19033.html
