We just returned from our first outing in our '06 Safari and received damage to both gravel shields. One side it even damaged the skin underneath. The rear bumber was also bent. All this was due to hitting debris in the road in a construction zone and unavoidable due to no room to avoid the objects. Question, where can repairs be made in the Sacramento,CA area? We have little confidence in the dealer here. Thanx.
If you go to Airstream.com and type in your zip code after you click the "Find a dealer" section and click "service and parts only" then type in your zip code it will give you an authorized service center.
By the way, CampingWorld has full mud flaps that clamp on to your hitch which protect exactly what happen to you. They go for about $79.00 plus tax.
Hope this helped. Keep us in the loop for how repairs went.
