Talking Whoops jumped the gun.. ;)

I always seem to jump the gun, Hello all my name is Jim and I am not new to the forum. My fault I always seem to jump the gun..Well I live in New Hampshire and recently acquired from my mom a 31 foot sovereign land yaught with full rear bath two center beds and pull out sofa bed it has gas furnace, with 6 gallon hot water tank, also has a gas wall heater inside the door with a nutone flush mixer(don’t know if it works) . I am not new to airstreaming when I was 10 years old my dad purchased a 17 foot airsteam and every weekend we would take it up to North Conway camping. I loved it and now I want to get my kids involved in Airstreams camping. Right now I am in process of gutting Bathroom area and redoing it. I have visited and posted many posts let see now believe I am at 57 post 2 rivet member woohoo!

Well I think I will not have the trailer ready till next summer but I look forward to maybe joining the wbbci community then. Thanks for all the help ….

Good luck with the Land Yacht. Stick with the Forums, there's a lot of great information here.

Thank you and so all you know here I suppose would be a good place to update. I stripped the airstream down to the floor . I replaced all the plumbing with pex (works great) ,Replaced the waterpump to. Also i replaced the hot water heater with a precision on demand hot water heater. I replaced the furnace with a 40,000 btu unit . I than purchased a refurbished dometic auto refrig(forget the model number) replaced all of the Propane tanks regulator and got gas gauges with remote digital readouts and some pipe . I purchased two fantasic auto fans . I painted all the plastic in the bathroom got all new faucet and shower . I have new intellogic power 9100 converter with wizard I also have four 6 volt golf cart batterys that I will hook up soon. I have been watching all of the DYI restoration of the overlander airstream for inspiration.Working on removeing singler panes from the sky windows . To make a long story short I have been at it for three years and still come here for advice and support which I allways seem to get . I dont see the post I made of the story I told as why this means so much to me maybe Ill post again is someone ask's. But thank you all if I have not forgot all you have done to help me.

Hi there!

Sounds like you have done a lot on that '77. Have you gone camping in it yet?

Also, where did you find a refurbished Dometic?

Hey have not gone yet still working on him.

I have some work yet before I can get him out camping I purchased the refrigerator from a local guy who has been refurbishing refrigerators for years. He made a buisness of it wish I remebered the model number but I dont it is fully automatic if there is no power the gas or electric will keep refrigerator going. I remove a rm100 from my trailer that was all rusted out.
