Question What ever happened to Porky Pig (and Randolph Scott)

I wonder what has become of old friend and poster known as Porky Pig .aka Danny & Sherry.
Last visit to Air-forums was March 2009. Last update to their blog/website
<http://www.trailergypsies.com/Welcome.htm>
was Sept. 2009 in Albuquerque.
Up to that time they had posted regular and interesting logs of their full-timing treks.
Sure hope they are well.

Lots of the good uns have quit hangin around here, as if you hadn't noticed.
But some seem to want to suppress that fact. Or to make excuses for it.
I was at a rally this past winter and asked one of the most venerable early participants here why I saw so few posts from him any more. He told me that the place had just gotten "too tedious and heavy handed" for his tastes. He was still Streamin' just not Foruming much.
Apparently some of the great ones aren't foruming at all any more.
When a company or a club or a community loses large numbers of its employees or members or citizens, it is usually indicative of something more than just common attrition. IMHO the number of posts & threads is far secondary to the quality of the people who have shared time with and for us all. When they disappear, I want to know if they are alright. Don't you ?

If I owned these forums I'd sure want to know why. I'd find out, and I'd make changes to try to do something about it.

I miss Airhog, Gene from Airstream of Arkansas. He hasn't posted since September of 2009 and I always enjoyed his posts, always firendly and always helpful and often funny.

Carol at least Airhog posted and let us know he was leaving.
If I recall he left the Arkansas dealership and went to work for Sonic Drive In chain.
I am not sure if he ever owned a trailer or if so if he kept it etc.

I could name dozens who have vanished without (as far as I know) a trace or a clue.

Last time fr8shaker was at Airstream of Arkansas (AOA) I had lunch with them. While I was there Gene (Airhog) dropped in for a visit with 'shaker. It was good to see Gene. He is staying busy, but the Sonic is not in Searcy, where AOA is located.
