What a wedding present!

Yesterday, my parents -- longtime Airstreamers -- pulled up to our house towing our wedding present: a 1963 Airstream Bambi. It's in great shape and has a lot of original components, but we are looking to tidy it up and make a few small changes.

I don't even have a hitch on my Tacoma yet, so I guess that's where I should start.

Anyway, happy to finally be an Airstreamer and be a part of Airforums. Can't wait to take our first trip! ... Deldog

Welcome to the forums. Would your parents like to adopt another son? I'm mostly housebroken, and have all my shots...

We have two customers with Bambies, they don't have any weight distribution gear, and simple friction sway control. You should be fine with your truck if you do the same.

And that my friends puts all other chrome toaster-shaped wedding presents to serious shame. :-)

That is a nice wedding gift there. You shouldn't have any problem keeping it cool with that A/C. Very nice!

I was just about to suggest building a slice of bread-shaped AC shroud.
Congrats on the coolest wedding present ever... oh, and congrats on getting married too, I suppose. Welcome!
