Hello everyone. Yesterday my wife and I signed papers on '15 27FB FC. We traded in our 1998 25 ft Komfort, and we pick up the new unit next Saturday. We are beyond stoked. We have been wanting and looking at 'Streams for 20 yrs, and with our daughter off to college and retirement in the foreseeable future, the time was right.

We plan on towing with our '09 Silverado 1500 with tow package, and the Blue Ox. Looking forward to the adventure.

We did it last week and will pick up our 2009 25' Ocean Breeze next week. I know what you mean about being stoked.

Welcome Caffeinated. You have selected a very, very nice Airstream trailer. No wonder you are happy. We looked at the new models about a month ago and were very impressed with the designs, features, and construction of the new trailers. I believe they are getting better and better. Our Airstreams are nearly 30 and 50 years old and still provide travel comfort and adventures. You can anticipate having yours for many, many years.

You're an experienced trailer traveler, so you won't have any problems. But if you do, Air Forums is an excellent place to get answers to questions.

I just caught your introduction tonight.
You made a great choice in your trailer. I bought a 2014, 27FB International last Fall, right after retiring. It's a perfect size for full timing. I hit the road full time on December 1st, and haven't looked back. I wish I had done this years ago, it's better than I had hoped. Don't wait too long to get out there!
I'm back in town to tie up some loose ends, then off into the sunrise again this a Fall. Portland is a great town, but I'm done with the rain.
Enjoy your new Airstream, and maybe we will bump into each other this Summer.

Hi Rick,
Thanks for the welcome. You wouldn't by any chance live over by the S side of Aloha High School would you? I drive special needs for the Beaverton district, and earlier this year I kept passing a house with a nice newish AS parked there.
