Hi, I'm Torie and my husband is Larry. We have always wanted to own an Airstream, we found a really nice 31' 1983 Soverign last September. We plan to do redecorating to make it ours. We took our lst big trip from Edgewood, TX (home) to Phoenix, AZ to see the Texas Ranger Baseball team at springtraining. It was a blast! Well we happened to see a 1967 24' International for sell a few miles from us, it is so cool we just couldn't pass it up. So now we have 2 Airstreams and our kids think we have really gone crazy, but our little granddaughters think its great to have two play houses. We plan to restore the International to its former 1960's glory...love the aqua and lime green color scheme of the bathroom and galley. We have had fun reading all the great info on the forums. Thanks for all the advice and experience, hope to add our own experience and even photos of our "Work in Progress"
Hey, when the bug bites you, it really does a number on you!
Congrats on both of your trailers. Yes, photos are in order.
Nice to have you here on the forum.
Dave

Well, you sound just as bad as Bob and myself. We started with the 24ft Argosy, and then "found" a 31ft Sovereign. My relatives and friends don't quite know what to think of us with our Airstream collection. Isn't it fun? We'd like to see what you've found before you start working on them and then throughout the process. Welcome to the group.

Mystorie, welcome and congrats on your 2 finds. Have fun. We are near you in Chandler,TX. Would love for you to drop by at Canton Trade Days when you can. We've found 1 Argossy,3 Safaris (one is ours), snd an International that are regulars there. This coming show will be our first trip with our 1971. We set up on the corner of row 50 and 96, with the funky yard art sculptures. Do drop by.

Artstream, thanks to you and others we have underbelly neons now. Not quite as visual as yours though. You are close now. Doing a show with your art? Think about the Canton show. Vendors can come the 28th of this month. Give 'em a call if you can. It's fun.
Charlie
Thanks ya'll for the warm welcome!

You guys will have to come by. We're just N. of Chandler off 279 heading towards Edom. Email when you're down and I'll send you our phone no to guide you in. Will check out the RV spot off 19 also. It would be great to get to know a local Streamer.
