We pulled the trigger on a 2016 int sig 30

Hello all,

Marjorie and I have 3 boys. Twins "not quite 2", and a 6 month old. We finally made a purchase after a thorough search of various RV brands, and came to the conclusion that the quality of an airstream is above and beyond.

Our plan is to buy a higher capacity TV as we approach our 7200. Our AS is 6382 empty, with 8800 max capacity.

To start off we plan to camp at a few local lakes here in Ohio this spring to get acclimated and then a week vacation in June around the Traverse City MI area.

We have trolled these forums / threads for months. We have purchased accessories, quelmed our fears about our TV, identified warranty issues, and much based on everyone's posts.

We appreciate everyone's posts. Thank you!

Mark, Marjorie

Congratulations on your AS! That is similar to the approach we have taken. We have had our AS for just over 3 months now, and so far we have taken 6 different weekend trips to learn all the systems and practice everything. We plan to take a month long trip this summer, and then start doing longer trips once we retire.

Welcome and congrats. Hope you did not shoot yourself in the foot when you "pulled the trigger".

Good memories from Mohican, Hocking Hills and Findlay SP. Pretty close by and good places to do a shakedown trip.

We did it with tents, AS came years later.

Start the fun, ASAP.

Congrats on you new international sig 30. We bought ours in Dec. do a couple shake down runs before anything long to find the little issues to be taken care of before a long trip. Or first was three weeks and our second was two weeks. Now waiting on local AS dealer to call me tomorrow with an appointment for repairs. (Little things but somewhat annoying) Good luck and have fun!

Nice. We have a five year old and three year old twins. It gets better

We're slowly able to travel for longer distances, but so far three hour journeys have been the limit.
