Smile We Own an Airstream!!!!

My husband Doug & I just bought a 1969 Airstream Tradewind Land Yacht...we've been "stalking" it for the last few years and now are the proud owners of this beauty. We currently own a 16' 1962 Shasta...it's going to be tough to see it leave our family but we are so excited about the ability to make the Airstream a reflection of our lifestyle & interests.

Congratulations, and welcome to the forums. We will need you to post photos ASAP. Wouldn't mind seeing pics of the SHasta either! We don't discriminate when it comes to seeing vintage trailers!

Come on now... Monah. You were suppose to send me pictures of your new Airstream first. Do I have to stalk you out on the forums to see pictures of your trailer. ;-)

Congratulations on both your trailers. We have a 57 Santa Fe that looks a lot like your Shasta. It is so cute we could hardly let it go live with a younger couple who have a nice barn to store it in and don't mind camping in a small trailer with no bathroom. Then we got the 24ft Argosy, and now the 31ft Sovereign. Watch out!......No one can have just one vintage Airstream product.

Welcome to The Wide World of Alunium! My grandparents had a 62 Shasta, but it was sort of a cream and light yellow color. They towed it with a 63 Dodge Dart, 225 cid slant six engine. Great little trailer!
