The same thing happened to my wife and me at the Tampa RV show in January. We had in mind get a fifth wheel and started to have second thoughts about pulling one of those big boxes around the country. We stopped in at the Airstream display on our way to see the fifth wheel that we had planned to see. We never left the Airstream area. Our International Serenity 25 FB is supposed to come off the line late this month.

Something similar happened to my wife and I. We had been boaters for 15 years, and never trailered or camped. We went to our first RV show and skipped right past the Airstreams. Too expensive, no slides. We had somewhat settled on a Forest River with the V shaped hull.

But we then decided to look inside an Airstream. And our train left itís track too. Our biggest deciding factor was we wanted to buy once, and not worry about upgrading five years from now. What sold me was the difference in the feel of the walls. Solid vs. flimsy cardboard.

Welcome to the forum!

Yep, same thing I said to my wife when we were discussing the AS. I said I donít want to do this again. We got almost 13 years out of our Sierra, but it was getting tired. Started to see the writing on the wall. Especially with that dang rubber roof! Hated that from the beginning!

And thanks everyone who has commented and welcomed us! Hope to see yaíll out on the road soon!!
