We finally pulled the trigger!

We've been lurking the forums for a while now and have been researching and visiting Airstreams for about 12 months or so and we've finally pulled the trigger on a 2015 27'FB International Signature. We drove from Dallas to Denver and back to pick her up last weekend and had a grand adventure doing so! Next up, something closer to home

We can't thank everyone enough for all of the input, feedback, and ideas here on the forums! It's one of the best things about this Airstream adventure - the tight knit community of people who all have this love in common and who are so willing to share and help each other out! So, thank you and we look forward to being a part of this wonderful community!

Next adventure.....exploring new tow vehicles.....this is an expensive hobby!

Congratulations!
Beautiful! Very similar to our new Airstream - we went to New Jersey to pick ours up. Great way to get acquainted.
We're in Austin. Originally from near Dallas, actually, and headed up there with the Airstream for July 4th - can't wait!
Expensive, no kidding, check out our misadventures here:

Welcome!!!

Oh my goodness Kirk, your misadventures story has been laughing out loud! What doesn't kill you makes you stronger I guess.....and also makes for a hilarious story!!! I'll send you a PM, look forward to staying in touch here locally

Also - we pulled back from Denver with a 2005 Tahoe 4x4. I don't think the tail was wagging the dog, but we could tell that a new tow vehicle will be in our future. As you've learned, that's a whole other animal and one that we'll take our time determining. We do not have kids, but do travel with two large dogs and maybe by the time we're 50 we'll have kids So, we do need to consider all of those factors in a new tv purchase!

Congrats, hope you do not shoot yourself in the foot when you "pull the trigger".

Hi Hogfan. Hope all goes well with the Airstream.
I am in the same place you were. I'm considering buying an Airstream. I just sold a new Winnebago Forza Motorhome that was just not what we thought it would be, took a real financial bath on it. I'm ready to buy, would like your advice.
Thanks
David D. Wichita Falls, Tx...
