We don't have a trailer YET, but here I am.

Hi All

We're planning on purchasing a '09 or '10 International 25' in the next coming months and driving it on our move back to S. California. I use to trailer with my parents when young, but they just had a generic white box trailer. It was fun, but it was no Airstream. I've always loved the design of the Airstreams since I like anything modern. I remember seeing the International model back when they first came out with the CCD interior and have wanted one ever since. I've even started a blog to document our Airstream adventures at AirstreamPilot I hope to contribute to this forum as much as I can, thanks for having me.

dennx, Welcome to the family! Do lots of walking around one and inside one and see if it fits you and your lifestyle before you take the plunge! If you think you like a model that they have in stock great! The best part of the experience of Airstream is the camping with other Airstream friends. Ed

I did a similar thing, buying a new Airstream and moving at the same time.

Congrats on your Airstreaming and moving down to SoCal.

I just wanted to say you should schedule yourself plenty plenty and plenty extra time to do Airstream-related errands during pre-move & post-move on top of the chaos of "moving" per se.

You will want to acquaint yourself with your new Airstream before setting out to any major trip, and it's absolutely given that there will be some problems (minor, hopefully) that you would want to have the dealership to do warranty works on.

Good news is that SoCal have some of the best experts on Airstreams.
